Discovery NM/CT 670 - FAQ

How many hours is too many on a used Discovery NM/CT 670?

Anything under 4,000 hours with a continuous service log is generally clean. 4,000–6,000 hours is fine if major service is current. Over 6,000 without recent preventive maintenance is high risk - factor in $2,000–$5,000 for service at purchase.

What's the real cost difference between a used and new Discovery NM/CT 670?

New Discovery NM/CT 670 list pricing runs 2–3x the used market ($350,000–$700,000). Depreciation is steepest in years 1–3. Buying at 2–4 years used captures most of the depreciation discount while getting a unit with minimal hours.

Does GE Healthcare support used Discovery NM/CT 670 units?

GE Healthcare supports all Discovery NM/CT 670 units regardless of purchase channel. Service contracts are available. Parts are stocked by GE Healthcare dealers and third-party suppliers nationwide.
